Hotel Subscription Terms

MASTERCARD HOTELNACHT

Hotels selected by Mastercard Hotelnacht [HBMEO B.V.] (i.e. those deemed to meet the festival profile by the organisation) may register by agreeing to a fixed room rate for Mastercard Hotelnacht guests and a fixed participation fee for the hotel, subject to the following conditions:

  • Participating hotels are requested to make a minimum of 25% of their total room inventory available
  • Mastercard Hotelnacht packages can only be booked via the official online booking platform of Mastercard Hotelnacht; individual room sales are not permitted
  • Rooms allocated to Mastercard Hotelnacht are non-refundable and may not be amended or cancelled without prior written consent (info@hotelnacht.nl)
  • Bookings that do not comply (or are found not to comply) with the booking conditions will be cancelled by Mastercard Hotelnacht. Please note: only the final booking update provided to hotels (shortly before the festival weekend) contains the definitive reservations. Earlier overviews are for informational purposes and to allow timely communication with guests
  • Rooms and any additional services (e.g. breakfast) sold by Mastercard Hotelnacht will be settled with participating hotels after the festival weekend; all rooms and extras will have been fully prepaid by guests
  • All materials (including images, video, and copy) provided by participating hotels are deemed to be fully cleared for use. Mastercard Hotelnacht accepts no liability for any claims by third parties in this regard
  • Hotels are encouraged to include breakfast in the offer, but this is not mandatory
  • The fixed room rate for Mastercard Hotelnacht is €160 per double room (incl. VAT). Please note: tourist tax does not apply to local residents
  • Separate arrangements will be made with participating hotels for any special VIP packages under Mastercard’s Priceless programme

Discounts for Participating Hotels

  • Chain discount: hotel groups (from 3 hotels) receive a 15% discount on the combined participation fee
  • Room discount: hotels with fewer than 20 rooms receive a 50% discount on the participation fee

MASTERCARD HOTELNACHT CAMPAIGN

Mastercard Hotelnacht conducts an independent, overarching PR and marketing campaign for the hospitality festival.

PASSE-PARTOUTS

A passe-partout (Mastercard Hotelnacht Ticket) grants festival visitors access to all events organised by participating hotels, subject to venue capacity at the time of entry. Passe-partouts are available exclusively via the Mastercard Hotelnacht app. Two (2) Mastercard Hotelnacht Tickets are included in the Mastercard Hotelnacht package, which is also exclusively available via the app, starting from the Early Booking Weekend.

MASTERCARD HOTELNACHT EVENTS

  • Participating hotels are encouraged, but not required, to organise a Mastercard Hotelnacht event
  • Revenue from passe-partouts contributes to the organisation of Mastercard Hotelnacht. These tickets grant access to all events; hotels are not permitted to charge entrance fees or sell their own tickets. Only with prior written approval from Mastercard Hotelnacht (info@hotelnacht.nl) may a hotel operate its own guest list
  • Hotels may only charge for food and beverages (F&B) during the festival weekend
  • Reservations for Mastercard Hotelnacht events (e.g. workshops, brunches, dinners) can only be made via the Mastercard Hotelnacht app. Further communication and any advance payments may be handled directly by the hotel
  • Hotel guests (e.g. staying overnight or dining at the hotel) are granted access to that hotel’s own Mastercard Hotelnacht event. A passe-partout is required for access to events at other hotels

OTHER CONDITIONS

  • Hotels shall grant unrestricted access to Mastercard Hotelnacht hosts for the performance of their duties. A warm welcome is appreciated
  • Mastercard, as the main partner, enables Mastercard Hotelnacht. Therefore, payments for F&B during events must be made by card or mobile payment (credit card or Maestro); the use of proprietary tokens or cash-based systems is not permitted. Cash payments are discouraged
  • Additional partners also contribute to Mastercard Hotelnacht. Only official Mastercard Hotelnacht Partners/Event Partners for the relevant edition may be associated with events or activations and be promoted by Mastercard Hotelnacht
  • Hotels are permitted to collaborate with their own partners or sponsors, provided this is limited to the use of their products or services
  • Photography and video recordings will be made during Mastercard Hotelnacht. It is not possible to specify in advance when or where this will occur. This material may be used in social media, promotional materials, and aftermovies to showcase the festival, participating hotels, and partners. Participating hotels are responsible for informing guests accordingly. Mastercard Hotelnacht accepts no liability for any related claims
  • Each hotel is responsible for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for its staff, Mastercard Hotelnacht personnel, and festival visitors

These Terms are intended to ensure the continued success and quality of Mastercard Hotelnacht, both now and in the future.
